I had a 3.1 with a 25 in high school, however was at a 2.6 after end of sophomore year, so showed improvement as I went along. Will be applying as a transfer after one year at CC with an expected 3.9 gpa (4.0 first semester) and 29 transferable credits. Computer Science major but also was wondering if my chances would increase if I applied as undecided. Thank you.

3.1 isn’t good enough. I graduated high school with about the same GPA and a lower ACT than you so I didn’t even bother applying because I had seen people with 3.3 and 3.4’s getting rejected. Now i’m a sophomore in college and i’m at MSU. I transferred here this semester. I had a 3.5 at CC and 39 credits transferring. After you have 28 or more transferrable credits MSU doesn’t look at your high school GPA or ACT.
