Oooh…Kazakhstan is that country near Mongolia with the wide open steppes, grasslands, and many horses…let me pull my ADHD self back on task. What I think 'bout ya chances:

You seem t’be very diversified. My guess is that Yale’ll definitely wantcha, since you seem t’be a good student (4.0 GPA, perfect scores in exams, etc) and especially because this kinda demonstrates your ability to rise to th’ challenge, if you know what I mean. Your extracurriculars seem pretty good; Yale’ll definitely like the part about you bein’ from Kazakhstan and knowin’ five languages. (I myself know Marathi, Hindi, Gujarat, Kannada, and of course, English–not tryin’ t’brag, y’know)

So I think you should definitely get in. With your resume, I don’t think your financial situation should be much of an issue with Yale-if they think you’re good and they wantcha, then they should give you a full or near-full scholarship (I should know- my family makes about the same and my big brother got full admissions t’his college as well)

you are a really competitive applicant, but i think your SAT might be a roadblock. the international applicant pool is really tough and I think your chances would be much higher if you had at least a 2100. idk though :)

Ooh…Kazakhstan…that’s that country near Mongolia with the beautiful landscapes and the many horses? Sorry-let me get my ADHD self back on-topic. I think ya got pretty good chances. I think these universities want diversity from all around the world or across the country, so they don’t come across as a regional university. With your awesome math-2 score and good physics score and excellent GPA, you’d be a totally good bargain for them. I don’t think your low income should be much of a problem (mine’s around yours) because Yale is need blind. And if they’re really impressed with ya, then they wouldn’t care about your financial need-meaning they’d give ya a full or near-full scholarship. Your extracurriculars an’ essay look pretty sweet as well. I guess not many people know five languages (I’m fluent in Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Gujarati and workin’ on Arabic…English first language…).

On’y problem I can think of is if they see you’ve applied t’Harvard, then they might not give you admission, since if you get admission to Harvard, you’d obviously take it (duh?).

Despite this, I guess ya got a great chance to get admission to Yale.

G’luck!

Zzwicker doesn’t know what (s)he is talking about. Please ignore.

Actually, what Zzwicker says is pretty stupid. Please ignore. Yale knows many of its applicants also cross apply to schools such as H or P or S or others.
