I did not do very well in high school, so I was accepted to a smaller christian college for the first year with an intent to transfer as a sophomore. After my first years of college, I have 32 transferable hours and a 3.1 GPA. I had a 2.59 GPA and a 3.6 GPA second semester with more credits. South Carolina says to transfer, you need a minimum of a 2.25 but for my major the minimum for consideration was a 2.75. So I'm over the GPA average and I took somewhat challenging courses (I took two 200 level courses as a freshman).

Anyway, South Carolina's transfer page says if you have 30 credits in college (which I do), then you don't need to meet the high school requirements. This is good for me because I only took 2.5 years of math in high school. My ACT score was average (23 overall), but I did exceptionally well on English and writing portions. I also took two AP Courses in High School, and earned credit for AP English with a score of three.

My first two years of high school grades are horrible, but I have an upward trend in high school. Do you think I can get in since I've proven I can do well in college with the 3.6 GPA second semester and a cumulative 3.1?
