Sorry, I couldn’t finish typing it at lunch.

My current unweighted GPA is a 3.68, I know it ain’t stellar but during my freshman year my high school switched to a block schedule and I couldn’t focus well in 3 hour classes. I transferred sophomore year and pulled a 3.75, now I have a 4.4 weighted (4 weighted). Since I really started thinking towards college in 10th grade I’ll start there.

Oh and I’m also in Link Crew (Upperclassmen helping freshmen) and I’m reapplying for NHS next year (I got rejected this year).

Everything looks fine. Your ACT score looks low for Cornell and Duke. Other than that you should be fine for all the other schools.

Duke and Cornell would be reach. UMich LSA in state should be a match to high match. Try your best to bring up your GPA. The upward trend helps though. Your ACT is right below UMich admission average and your overall GPA will be too, but for in state, you still have a good chance. If you have time, just to bring up your ACT a notch too. You probably will be deferred at EA so you still have time to bring up your GPA and ACT in senior.

Thanks, I definently plan to raise my ACT to at least a 32 over the summer and by senior year my GPA should be at a 3.7-3.8 (unweighted).

Also I’m attending a summer program in field biology at UMich, would this boost my chances?

I forgot to add these schools-
OSU
UChicago
Emory

Bump

UChicago will be a reach as well as Cornell etc.

Bump

Cornell reach
Duke reach
UM Ann Arbor high match/low reach
Case Western Reserve low reach
Tulane high match

Leadership in clubs is a good thing, but try to have your ECs fit a “theme” of what you want to do. It is good that you compensated for a bad GPA freshman year by having an upwards GPA trend. Try to take the ACT again, and you will have a better chance at these schools! also, thanks for chancing me!
