EC's: National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, President of the Astronomy club (2011-2012), tried to play Volleyball and Basketball in 10th and 11th grade, respectively, (but I am DEFINITELY not an athlete so I was miserable playing both and didn't try out again), Guitar (Fingerstyle, and I compose my own stuff), Piano, and soon I'm applying to be a dog-walker for my local ASPCA and also, for a job.

If you can possibly get your UW GPA up to a 3.75+ you would be in even better shape.

<p>I’m not a fan of chancing but you only got one response so I thought I would respond. Like OP said, try and up your GPA a bit (I imagine it would help a bit) and you should consider doing an art supplement with your music if you are good.</p>

<p>I think you’re a strong candidate, but it never hurts to improve your app. Is it possible for you to raise your GPA a bit? Can you somehow reach the top 10%? As for the ECs, any particular reason why you’re not doing the club anymore? I think it’s important to show commitment, but if you have other ECs you are dedicated to it should be fine. For example, have you been playing both instruments all through high school? </p>
