Hi,
I'm looking to apply to Carnegie Mellon Science department ED in order to major in Mathematics. I have a 3.5ish GPA(didn't get back the updated transcript yet) and I got a 2150 on the SAT(780M 730R 640W). I've taken all honors for high school with the exception of regents English Freshman year. In terms of APs I took AP chem and APUSH this year and I am taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Lang and Comp, and AP comp sci.
EC
I've done Cross country for 3 seasons. 4 by the time I'll apply and Track and Field for 2 seasons.
Orchestra for 3 years and I've played cello since 3rd grade. I'll probably get into area all state as a senior.
I also hope to take a mathematics seminar as a senior.
Thanks.

is that 3.5 weighted or unweighted? if it is weighted that is a bit low, but you seem to have strong background in mathematics and a rigorous courseload senior year. Improve your GPA if you can, work hard.

It’s unweighted
I think I had around a 4.1ish weighted
GPA
I forgot to put in my post that I also did chess club during spring and winter of junior year and I plan to continue this spring/winter.
