Chance me :)

Hello. I'm not too sure where I want to apply yet, but I'm thinking of the following schools (not including safeties and whatnot):
Columbia
Stanford
MIT
Caltech
UPenn
GTech
CMU

I come from a pretty decent public high school; we have 40ish Ivy admits per year and send a ton of kids to Cornell. Average class size is about 550. I'm an 11th grader.

GPA: 99.5/100 weighted (our school doesn't report unweighted)
SAT: 2330 (first sitting, 760 R 770 M 800 W 11 essay)
SAT2: Biology 750, Physics 740 (planning on retaking this in October), Math II 770
Rank: School doesn't report rankings
11th courseload: AP Computer Science, AP Stat, AP Physics B, AP Lang, APUSH, Precalc Honors, Research 11
12th courseload: AP Lit, AP Micro, AP Micro, AP Comp Gov, AP Physics C, AP Calc BC, AP Chem, Research 12

Common Awards such as NHS, French NHS
Various awards at local science fairs and debate tournaments

Extracurricular:
- President of external student-run charity organization which repairs and donates old computers. Built a couple of computer centers over the years and taught basic computer usage to elderly students at a nursing home.
- Varsity Swimming (4 years)
- Speech and Debate, awards here and there
- President + Co-founder of Computer Science Club
- President of Young Entrepreneurs Club
- Treasurer of Political Science Club
- Math Team
- Mobile app development: did backend coding for multiple games now available on the iOS App Store. Released a couple other games of my own on the App Store which have all done considerably well.
- Part-time web development for a bunch of companies
- Electronic music production

Summer:
- Research internship at Columbia Univ. this summer at the Robotics Laboratory. Pretty excited for this.

Asian (Indian) ethnicity, male, >$100,000 household income. Can't think of any hooks at the moment. That's all.

Remarkable Stats! All schools not in the ivy I see as a high match. The ivy leauge is unpredictable including MIT so it’s a crapshoot, but being asian makes it harder. I wish you luck!

Thanks!

Columbia: Reach/ Low Reach
Stanford: Reach
MIT: High Reach
Caltech: Reach/ Low Reach
UPenn: Reach/ Lowe Reach
GTECH: Match
CMU: Match

i hate to do this but: bump

You have a decent shot at all these schools, but with admissions rates so low, it’s a crap shoot. I’d say you’re in for CMU and Georgia Tech.

GTECH: In
CMU: Solid chances

All others are reach to high reach

Nothing impressive + Asian male
