<p>@centralFC i dont have “depth” because i switched schools twice, some schools want u to gain one year of experience before they let u do some extracurriculurs, hence why i got a bunch of scattered ECs starting junior year</p>
<p>I Didnt do so much research on UW madison when i made this post -.- but i know now (not from you). So please dont say that i dont do my research.</p>
<p>Your ACT is still important in admissions… and for me, it is not hard to ace a standardized test, it took me about two hours of prep to get a 32. </p>

<p>You don’t seem to be very open-minded, to be entirely honest. I just read three excuses within 100 or so words of your writing as to why you’re weak in particular areas. </p>
<p>That’s not negativity. It’s honesty. If you can easily ace a standardized test, why didn’t you? What would compel a person to want to take the ACT twice and waste money and/or time? Why did you not do research the first time on UW before posting blindly about it? Why didn’t you involve yourself in some extracurriculars of importance regardless of what you were told? </p>
<p>Regardless of what your reasoning may be, your posts are littered with excuses and that sort of frailty doesn’t hold up well when you’re writing essays and establishing a connection with higher-end universities. It’s not to say you won’t get accepted somewhere impressive (though I have extreme doubts NU would be on that list), but you’ll absolutely get your ass kicked if you walk into college with the attitude you’ve demonstrated thus far. </p>
<p>You asked for brutal honesty in one of your original posts. Don’t be so quick to run from it. </p>

So just say match, reach, or safety for each of the five colleges i posted or get out thank you and have a nice day valedictorian :)</p>
