Thank you guys so much!

please

Berkeley and USC are low reaches/reaches, others are matches

Thank you! Also should I consider applying to any of these EA? (I realize some don’t have that option)

Anyone else? Please?

bump

USC and UC Berkeley reaches
Pepperdine low match
University of Washington match
University of San Diego match
Syracuse (Newhouse) low match/high safety
Santa Clara - don’t know school

hope this helps, please chance back!

Newhouse accepts 7% of it’s applicants. It’s a high reach and since it is so expensive, it can’t be a safety. @kangelillo16‌

@AnnieBeats‌ my bad, forgot they wanted Newhouse not Syracuse Arts & sciences.

My apologies @batman4321‌

No worries @kangelillo16‌ ! I am interviewing there this fall with admissions so I hope that shows my demonstrated interest/helps my chances!

VERY GOOD CHANCES at all places, most prospective communications majors aren’t the academic type and you have that advantage on your side. Obviously, I didn’t mean this comment to be rude towards communication majors. GOOD LUCK!

I would place USC over Newhouse in your first picks because of the L.A. advantage!

Thank you so much! And yes the LA area is definitely awesome for my field @PSC2IVY‌

My D had very similar numbers and EC’s, is a Comm major, and applied to almost the exact same schools.

USC (Annenberg) - Reach. Your SAT could be higher…and a few more AP’s senior year would be better.
UC Berkeley - Reach, especially OOS. Seems only valedictorians get in. And even then, some turned away. From our HS in So Cal this year, SAT’s 2200+, with 4.5 GPA.
Pepperdine - for sure.
University of Washington (IN STATE) - for sure. Lucky to have this option at a great price!
University of San Diego - yep.
Syracuse (Newhouse) - for sure
Santa Clara - yes

Congrats on a great high school career. For Comm, check out UCLA, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Penn State.

Thank you so much! @Maggpie‌ I am retaking my SAT in October and will hopefully be able to raise it to make it even more competitive… Best of luck to your D in college!

I think everything except UC Berkeley and USC are matches! your extracurriculars (esp deca and volunteer as well as soccer) are pretty good. UC Berkeley and USC are low/mid reaches I think… try and get the SAT up a little higher as others have said + maybe one or two more APs. Also take some SAT II tests? Best of luck!

Awesome thanks so much @oph3licat‌ !

bump!

USC and maybe Syracuse are reaches. Everything else seems fit (including Berkeley, because you’re applying to PR and not STEM). For PR, have you looked at NYU or Babson? Take a look!

Please Chance me back.
