Chance Me?

<p>I'm applying to Bowdoin ED for psychology
I attend a large high school in Southern California, and have a 3.8 unweighted and 4.56 weighted, I've taken all honors and AP classes, including:
AP English Language: 4
AP Physics B: 4
AP Statistics: 4
APUSH: 5
and AP English Lit, AP Spanish, AP Psych, AP Calculus BC, AP Euro, and AP Govt</p>

US History 800 World History 620 Literature 710
SAT I
Writing 770 Reading 740 Math 650 <-- I'm waiting for a better score on the most recent test</p>

Academic Decathlon 10,11 (secretary for 11)

Babysitting regularly
Church Care Taker
Director/Choreographer for Kids Musicals</p>

Top 10 % Graduating Seniors in San Bernadino County
Top 10 of Class (class size = 750ish)</p>

<p>Your ECs are a little weak, but otherwise I think you have a fair shot at Bowdoin, it is quite possible that the fact that you live in CA will really help you because a vast majority of students applying to Bowdoin are from the New England Area, but I still caution that Bowdoin has an admission rate of around 14%, and generally accepts around 800 students, so I have definitely recommend that you have some other schools you are interested</p>
