I was wondering what my chances are to get into the various SUNY institutions. Here are my Stats an ECs
GPA:3.44 (weighted) my school doesn't do unweighted.
SAT: CR: 630
M: 620
W: 500
I have taken 2 AP classes and 3 honors classes ( 2 APs and 2 honors senior year) 1 honors junior year. But i went to a noncompetetive school freshman and sophmore year so I didn't get the course rigor oppurtunity until junior year where I had more oppurtunities. My grades have also steadily increased year to year
ECs: debate team and co-captain of tennis team and school service for dean
My reccomendation is good and I think my essay is relatively unique and will either be loved or hated bc the topic is risky. At least in my opinion.
Bottom Line: What are my chances for binghamton, geneseo, albany, buffalo, stonybrook, new paltz and oneonta
I know it's a lot of schools but I would appreciate if someone could chance me.

And my rank is in the top third of my class and the APs are Statistics and Government and the honors are 2 english and one economics ( and the english honors senior year is also for college credit)

I think you’ll get into New Paltz, Oneonta, and Albany. My brother got into those with a 90 GPA and 1500 SAT (out of 2400). With AP classes and good ECs and recs, you should be fine. What’s your essay topic, out of curiosity? I’d guess no for Bing and Geneseo but that’s just my gut feeling. You never know. Buffalo and SB I’m not sure. Good luck!

binghamton, geneseo, albany, buffalo, stonybrook, new paltz and oneonta

Unfortunately Binghamton or Geneseo are probably out. Those schools like to see higher SAT scores. As for Buffalo, Stony Brook and New Paltz, that depends and might come down to things like reagents scores or something like that. You will probably get in to Oneonta and Albany.

I was pretty sure Binghamton was out. But I was hoping I could get into geneseo because I thought they only looked at CR and Math? And my SATs for that is a 1250 out of 1600. And my essay is on my struggle with bipolar disorder and how far I have come in terms of progress with my ECs and my course rigor. Also I thought Binghamton is the only SUNY that looks at writing on the SAT is that correct? I was hoping my low writing score wouldn’t hurt me for geneseo.

I think you’re right about Geneseo only looking at cm+m. Your gpa is still on the low side, though. But I don’t think it’s completely out of the question.
