[ ] Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Division 1 club soccer(Captain for 4 years)-placed 5th and 4th at state tournament in 2013 and 2014 respectively(second in league and third in league respectively as well).
Varsity soccer for 4 years(looking to be a captain this year)-we were ranked top 20 in the nation during my sophomore year and top 50 during my freshman year. Lots of district and region titles-no state titles sadly. I also have lots of individual awards.
Piano-lots of "superiors" and "guild awards." Going for high school diploma this year.
Also teach English to my cousins on free weekends-family is important ya know lol.

[ *] Weaknesses:no research experience. 3's on some AP tests-in my defense, my chem 2 teacher and music theory teachers were not great. Comp science-I took it as an underclassmen, so I was a slack-fack.

<p>Being an Asian male from a privileged background will put you at a disadvantage at elite schools. You seem to be very involved in the ECs you have, which is good, but you don’t have many. I obviously don’t know all the details so I don’t know where this puts you, and it’s a little late to add ECs anyways. Your ACT and GPA are fantastic but I would take one more SAT II, most colleges want two. </p>

<p>Anyways, I would say that everything but Wake Forest and Emory are reaches, as the Ivies and elite schools are with everyone. You should look into more safeties. However, you’re definitely competitive enough to be in the running for these schools- are you likely to be recruited for soccer? That would help A LOT.</p>

<p>@zorba12345 no I am not looking to be recruited for soccer at all. I have a list of safeties that I did not list. I am not very interested in going to Ivy’s for undergraduate study. I’m looking for at least a half scholarship to one of the other schools. </p>

<p>Yea I have done school clubs like mu alpha theta and beta club but wasn’t very involved, so I chose not to list them as I didn’t want to look shallow.</p>
