I am a current high school junior that is seriously stressing out about my chances of getting into a good school. These are my stats:
2220 SAT (740 Math, 740 Reading, 740 Writing)
SAT II: Math 2 (720) Physics (700)
GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.3 weighted
URM status (African American)
EC’s:
Volunteer at hospital
Youth leadership camp
Senior class representative (Student gov’t)
Tour guide
ACLU
A Better Chance Ambassador
My schools:
Duke
Wash U Saint Louis
UPenn
Vanderbilt
Cornell
Brown
Amherst
Swarthmore
Princeton
Vassar
U Rochester
I think you’re right in line for most of the schools you mentioned. Your GPA and scores are admittedly a touch below what most applicants to most of those schools have, but on the other hand, your URM status will probably help you a little. As a junior, I’d say you’re doing well!

It looks like we’re in about the same boat score-wise. Your app looks pretty strong (solid scores, URM status) and you have a year to sure things up.
You may want to strengthen your ECs though. Take the SAT IIs again and get involved in a few more ECs and you will get into plenty of these schools.
