First generation college student.

I was president of Key Club and achieve a lot fundraising for charities and won four awards for the club.
I played badminton for a year.
I was in JMUN and SDAYO and was in CSF for three years.
I had strong essays.
Secretary at Habitat for Humanity.
Active member of Environmental Club
Yearbook staff member.
I had work every weekend all of high school.
Volunteered at a local Science Center Museum as a summer camp counselor.
Enrolled in Sunday Chinese School for a year.

Applied as Anthropology major.

I think you have a decent chance at UCI, good luck! My UW GPA is around the same as yours and we both have the same ACT score but you have a lot more EC than I do and APs.

I’m not an expert at chancing but here are my stats, if that helps:
WGPA: 4.41
UWGPA: 3.85
SAT = 1900
My decision came back today, and I was accepted for Undeclared instead of the major I put (Computer Science). My essays were OK so if you have really strong essays, hopefully that can compensate anything you lack. Good luck!
