Chance me?

Hey, Emma here…I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what my chances would be for the following schools? If not all, perhaps just one?

Schools: Case Western Reserve (first choice), Johns Hopkins, University of Rochester, SUNY University at Buffalo, SUNY Stony Brook, and, last but not least, Harvard!

Objective:
SAT I: 2120 (690-CR, 680-M, 770-W)
ACT: 35 (35-E, 34-M, 36-R, 34-S)
SAT II: Haven’t taken them yet (taking them June 6), but the ones I’m taking are Chemistry, Spanish, and US History
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0
Class Rank: Top 10%
AP: 5 AP World…I took 3 this year (Lang, US History, Chem) so I’ll be finding out about those in July.
Senior Year Course Load: AP Spanish Lang, AP Bio, AP Calc BC, AP US Gov and Politics (and then English 12 and theology courses, as I go to a private, Catholic school)
Major Awards: National Merit Commended Student, Safety Star of the Day @ 2 FRC Competitions (2014 and 2015 Finger Lakes Regional)

Subjective:
Extracurriculars (leadership in parentheses): JV Tennis team 9/10th (Co-Captain in 10th), Varsity Tennis team 11/12th (hopeful captain 12th), FIRST Robotics 9-12 (Safety Captain 10-12), NHS 11/12 (hopeful officer 12th)
Job/Work Experience: JK Findings (summer after 10th grade), planning on getting a job/doing research during August this summer
Volunteer/Community Service: Mentor at FLL Qualifying Tournament 9-12, hospital volunteer at Strong Memorial Hospital last summer
Summer Activities: Tennis camps, Mini Medical School @ U of R this summer
Essay: I’ve been told that I write quite well so it should be good!
Teacher Recommendations: I’ve got two lined up from my math and Spanish teachers this year; both of them I trust to write great letters for me!

Other
Major: Pre-Med
State: NY
School Type: Private, Catholic, college prep
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Gender: F
Income Bracket: $150,000

I’m planning on interviewing at the schools that do that as well. Is there anything I could do to improve my chances?

bump

bump again…could someone please help me out here?

I think (with the obvious Harvard exception) you are shooting way too low.
Submit your ACT only and you are a competitive applicant for pretty much anywhere. To be blunt… a 4.0/35 whos first choice is Case is pretty rare.

@soze Thanks for the input! For some of these colleges, the only reason I’m interested in them is because I’m so far above their average applicants that I would receive a lot in merit aid, which is something I’d really like. Considering how expensive medical school will be, I’m attempting to get the cost down to a very low amount for undergraduate.

I would not be so sure about merit aid at Rochester and JHU.
If you’re really trying to save money, how about your state flagship?

@soze Rochester actually offers quite a bit in merit aid, more than Case seems to. Plus, if I didn’t receive much there in merit aid, I could qualify for one of their FIRST Scholarships or their Meliora Scholarship, as my dad attended the school.
In terms of JHU, I totally get that. They don’t really have anything to offer in terms of merit aid, putting them at one of the lower contenders on my list, although their medical program is obviously one of the top programs in the country and one that I would be ecstatic to get into.

Also, in terms of state flagship, I live in New York so UB is that school. Thanks again!

Youll get in everywhere but JHU and Harvard
IF you apply ED to JHU you should get in
If you RD to JHU its a low reach
you should get merit at the other uni you are applying at

Actually if you live in NY and are pre-med, you should be looking at Stony Brook for a state U.
