You won’t get into Ivies but I think you have a great chance at the other schools you listed like Penn State.

Are you a rising Junior?
Everything is possible as of now. Just keep working hard.

bump? really want some more feedback

desperate :((

Well, it’s a little hard to tell without UW gpa, but I think your extracurriculars are pretty good and as long as you do well in junior year, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get into at least some of these schools (particularly bu/bing/maryland/fordham). I dunno about the ivies, but then again, does anyone really know about the ivies?

@pontmercy my unweighted is a 4.0 sorry i typed it wrong. definitely not relying on any ivies just aiming to be a strong applicant, thank you!

bump ((please))

You list a smattering of ECs but not your involvement in them. Competitive schools look for depth of involvement and achievements not simply number of ECs or even type of ECs. More isn’t necessarily better. They don’t won’t dabblers. Right now that is the impression you convey. Now that you’ve tried many different things, how do you you see yourself. If you are serious about wanting to go to a competitive school, start being a serious student. Stop dabbling and start achieving.

@lostaccount my two biggest activities are cheerleading and tutoring. I put in many hours a week for both. I’m also captain of my team and coach of a younger team. Student gov’t power squad and service club are all school and community involvement. My science camp and science honor society are because I want to major in science and I think I’m gonna run for office in science honor society. I feel like softball isn’t very relevant to college apps because I don’t have any major achievements in it. Idk if I should keep doing to for that reason but I also really enjoy it.
