UCR has this program called GAP where you need at least a 3.9 weighted and 1600 SAT and it’s a guarantee acceptance to the school! You’ll be notified by September to October-ish, but you’ll still need to submit an application to them in November. I’ll recommend you to do this if UCR is one of your top choices and even if you get accepted, you don’t have to commit to them if you don’t want to! There’s no loss in this 
The GAP program has not been available since last year. You are still in good shspe without it.

That is interesting since my niece was interested in applying for Fall 2015 and could not find the information on the website. She said she called admissions and they stated they were no longer offerring the program. If you have the link, that would be much appreciated since I am helping another relative with applications for this Fall , they would be interested in applying for GAP during the summer.
