Average scores for the incoming class of 2019 for the college of business is a 3.99 weighted GPA (CSU GPA?), 1330/1600 SAT, and a 26 ACT. To me your SAT/ACT are low and you have one AP test that you failed. If your school does not offer a lot of AP classes then your lack of AP’s may not hurt you that much. Cal Poly doesn’t have an essay and the extra curricular part of the application was pretty minimal if I remember.

I would put Cal Poly as a reach.

I agree with above poster^^^. SLO business is very competitive, your course rigor is lacking and test scores are on the low side. To boost your chances, retake the ACT or SAT after studying this summer. You would have better chances at UCR/CSUF and possibly SDSU as a business major.

Ya, I’m looking at SDSU, UCSC, UCR, UCSB, and Long Beach State.

If I remember the CSUs don’t really look at the extra curricular. Most of the time the cuss look at the SAT or ACT then use your GPA with them to calculate your eligibility index.

SLO does not use the eligibility index like all of the other CSU’s. They use an MCA point system. I would check out the following thread if interested in how the MCA points are calculated: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cal-poly-san-luis-obispo/1694769-confused-about-mca-score.html#latest
