3 honor societies, 3 year letterman, member of environmental club 4 years (VP junior yr and will be President for senior year, School ambassador, summer programs at university summer before junior and senior year, received a book award, first honor roll all semesters, i have a job during the school year and i babysit monthly, bilingual, received national spanish award, member of biomedical club, volunteered 10 hrs/semester at after school tutoring program grades 9,10,11, nominated by my school to attend a leadership diversity conference during the school year

this year I took 3 AP, 2 honors
senior year I will take 5 AP and 1 honors class

I’d say you will for sure get in if you apply early decision. Regular decision you have pretty high chance. I applied early last year and got in with a slightly lower GPA with a few more extracurriculars (leadership positions at state level) and similar awards as you. The main reason I think I got in, however, was that I showed A LOT of interest - thats what they’re looking for. Email your regional rep, DO AN INTERVIEW (70% of admitted students had an interview…so basically you have to if you want to get in), and visit campus. Also work on your supplemental essays now, they are looking for creativity and personality try and stand out, be funny if you are, be passionate if you are.

I had heard from a counselor that UT Austin isn’t big with the interviews? Did you do one?
