I am a rising senior. I am planning on applying as a Political Science/Government major.

SATs- Took only once- 2200 (CR 740 Math 700 Writing 760)
I have taken 5 AP courses and 3 Honors. Next year I am taking 3 more APs and 2 Honors.
EC:Altar Server,Church Choir, Volunteer for MS Society, Model UN, Model Congress, Mock Law (Vice President), Student Council, Student Rep to School Board, District Attorney Youth Board, 13 Years of Dance, Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor, Track, Intern on both a gubernatorial and a state senate campaign,Field Director on a City Council campaign.

You can get into these schools. Don’t think that a reach is an impossibility… Its just means that it might be difficult to get into simply based on arbitrary rejection and acceptances. You are a very competent client for any college!

You’re a really strong and impressive candidate anywhere that you choose to apply! Your ECs and Scores are great. My only suggestion would be to really focus on the unique takeaway you have from these experiences in your essays and showcase your personality to standout from the crowd.

Nice stats and GPA! Your ECs also seem to reflect your interest, which is good. To be honest, I don’t know a lot about any of these schools, especially for the liberal arts colleges, but for Georgetown, Tufts and Cornell, you are probably a low reach b/c they are quite competitive. Good luck!
