Also I’m taking a couple of classes at OSU this fall, would taking these classes make me more competitive for admission?

What is your class rank?

OSU focuses on increasing the percentage of incoming freshman that are in top 10% of the class and the average of the ACT scores. If you are not in top 10% of the class or have any `hooks’, it appears (just from seeing some cases) that the ACT score needs to be at least 30-31.

If you are in top 10% of the class, ACT score of 29 should be fine.
