AP Classes: US History 5, Bio 5, Environmental Science 5, Euro 5, English Language 5, Calc AB 5, Stat 5, World History 4, Physics I: 3 (horrible teacher, had to study all on my own)
ECs:
President of the 2nd highest ranked high school orchestra in my state
Key club secretary
National Honor Society Member
National Merit Semifinalist
All Region/State Orchestra member
Volunteer at church (100+hours)
Church Mission trip to Mexico (1 week)
Volunteer at a senior center (50+ hours)
Part time math tutor at Kumon
So how am I looking? Any tips and suggestions will be appreciated!

Your class rank is pretty low for someone with a 3.9 unweighted. OOS admission is tough, but I think you have a chance. Apply and give it your all in your essays. Good luck.
Current Cal student. Average unweighted GPA to UC Berkeley was a 3.91. Don’t listen to @Gumbymom. Berkeley uses the uncapped GPA, so it will use more than 8 semesters of APs from 10th-11th. Your SAT is around average. Your rank is very suspect. What major are you applying as? For the Letters and Science college (where most people are), I’d say you are a reach.
