UC GPA? http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
You are interested in 2 very competitive majors. Your GPA is around the average but SAT is below the average of 1878. You want to be above average with your Stats. If possible, retake the SAT to increase your chances. Also write some stellar essays.

At the moment, UCSC looks like a High match/ Low Reach.

Good Luck

I’m a current student at UCSC. The competitiveness of your major doesn’t matter a lot here, but if UCSC is your first choice you should retake the SAT or try the ACT. Remember, your freshman grades don’t matter much to UCs, so calculating your UC GPA will give you a better idea of where you stand.

I think you have a good shot, especially if you retake the SAT!

My UC GPA is 3.71
