Both GPA and SAT is within range of Cornell CAS. But then again, you never know how college decisions can turn out. Make sure you have something special that can make you stand out from the rest of the applicants. At this point, focus on your Ec’s and how they can make you stand out from the rest of the applicants. I would be surprised if you didn’t get in. Best of Luck!!

Chance me back please if you have time?

Your profile looks very strong, however, @MrIvyLeague is right and admissions can be random. And I don’t want to psych you out but I once saw a video made by a college admissions counselor who flat out said “Asians are held to a higher standard”. That doesn’t mean you’ll get flat out rejected, but they might waitlist you in which case I would try and maintain contact with the admissions office because I have heard about cases where the extra demonstrated interest tipped the application in the favor of the applicant. With that being said, your scores are still 130 above the average for Cornell, and your essay topic sounds like something a college admissions officer would like to see. I would also be surprised if you didn’t get in.
