Hello! I am a rising ninth grader, so I am probably not a very good help at all. So, if you like to ignore my answer, I would totally understand.
As I have no idea which colleges I will get accepted to, Georgetown is on my list of colleges too. Last time, I heard, Georgetown has a 17% acceptance rate.

But I think you can do it because anyone can do anything they try their best at. If you put your weighted GPA, if you are okay with sharing it, will probably help other people and I better chance you, however. But the honors and AP courses you are going to take by the end of 12th grade is a pretty nice amount to have.
I am not sure whether the SAT score is the new or old SAT. If it is the new SAT, 1500 out of 1600 is very, very good. Congrats! If it was the old SAT score, that means it is 1500 out of 2400. That is still a good score, but I would recommend you retake the SAT or give a try on the ACT as Georgetown students generally have very high SAT and/or ACT scores. Being the Vice President of Model United Nations will defiantly help your application stand out, in both Georgetown and NW for sure. The community service. Science awards, and debate awards will also likely help.

I know this answer isn’t that good as I do not know too much, so I am apologize if it is bad!
Have a good day and good luck in your admissions.
@anthonytheboy That was really helpful actually. Our school doesn’t do weighted gpa and my sat score is for the new sat. Thank you for all your help, and if you have any questions then I will be happy to assist you.
Based on the scatterplot on collegeapps.about, you seem to have a decent shot if we just look at your GPA and SAT. I think some factors could increase your chances:
Legacy (if Northwestern cares)
Competitiveness of your school if they know about it
An upward trend in your grades if you have one
Your EC’s are pretty decent, but how good they are depends on what awards you won (I’m familiar with debate - what were they?) and if you can elaborate well on what you did as leaders of those clubs.
I’d say, based on my non-expert opinion in a subforum dedicated to unqualified people making random guesses, that you have a better shot than the average accepted applicant.
@171College No problem. I am glad that I was a help!
@RMIBstudent aha yeah, thank you for your response. My grades do have an upward trend. Also, it was +5 speaker awards and also winner of many in-state tournaments.
OK, be sure to express in vivid terms the size of those tournaments and the intellectual content of the debates.
What kind of debate did you do, out of curiosity?
@171College You will have a great application. I have no clue on chancing, and question its validity. We are not admissions teams. From my hours of lurking on CC, looks like G’town and Northwestern are near the Ivies in being reaches for everybody, so make sure you also look at other universities in US News top 50. No diff between #19 and #21, say, whatever they are, but there are great options that are technically ‘less competitive’ than your top choices. But based on your record, you will wind up at a great selective college! I strongly encourage Early Decision and showing interest by visiting and a few specific emails to the specific admission rep for your state. Such as, is the university coming to any college fairs in my area? Coming to my high school? Interviews nearby?
Gpa looks slightly low but if your school is really as recognized as you say, colleges will take that into account. Honestly, your EC are kind of weak. But overall I think you are definitely in the mix for both
