Some of my schools of interests:
BU
Northeastern
University of Rochester
University of Pittsburgh
University of Maryland
NYU
Bowdoin
Middlebury

Can you identify any of these schools as either matches or reaches? Any other recommendations?

Thank you very much!

Very good chance at northeastern and BU, NYU, U of rodchester are more matches so it depends on the applicant pool. Middlebury is a match to reach. If you move your act up to a 32, it will become a match

^^^ I second everything. Also, Maryland is a match and Bowdoin is a reach. If you get a 32 or above ACT, then your chances for Bowdoin will improve a lot.

I would say Bowdoin and Middlebury are reaches. Northeastern is a safety. The rest are matches. In my opinion, you should look at more schools like Northwestern or Brown or Cornell or University of Michigan and apply ED to one. Physics departments for the schools you listed aren’t the best.

I agree with Northeastern, BU, NYU and Rochester. The only thing that seems a little worrying to me id your SAT score.

@snisong Would you say that if I get a 31 ACT then I will have better chances at these schools?

Most definitely. I believe 31 is average for BU and possibly NYU, so that definitely helps you out.
