Might as well put my stats up…any advice?? I am a legacy at Columbia and Dartmouth (where I most want to go), applying ED. I also applied EA to Georgetown and am applying to the Macaulay Honors Program.

Taking 4 APs this year and 3 last year
Math, Science (treasurer), Business (president), French and National Honor Societies.
My essay and hook will be on how I taught myself and love the Russian language.

I have a 99.2 weighted, not sure why my HS doesn’t do the 4.0 scale. Should be Great recommendations from French an English teachers. Thanks for the advice!

Your stats are very good and should make you a good candidate for acceptance especially at Columbia and Dartmouth where you have legacy
If a school has ED they expect you to apply ED if you want to get the legacy boost. Their thinking is why should they give you an extra boost if they are not your first choice? Your ECs seem a bit light. Hopefully, there is more that you are not telling us. Grades and test scores seem in range. Good luck!
