hey guys, UCF is my number one pick when it comes to school, ive only applied to one other, haha.
what are my chances of getting in? heres my stats
date applied: oct 2016
term applied for: summer 2017
UW GPA: 3.2
W GPA: 3.7
SAT: (redesigned) 1140 composite
ACT: 25
Honors: Biology
61 credit Hours of dual enrollment
College GPA: 3.0
Class rank: top 20%
And im In-state

Unfortunatley i have no recorded service hours because of a mess up when i transfered from one high school to another, but i have experience working at a church and at an animal shelter, and taken ballet/pointe for 7 years (do recorded hours mean a lot? ive seen many of the people here who have hundreds.)

i did a killer application essay and a counselor reccomendation.

math is my weak point though and in both my sat and act i got right under the “college readiness benchmark” but i hope that does not kill a decision…

Just wondering, with 61 credit hours would you be considered a transfer?

nah i dont believe so, because they were all done before graduating hs through dual enrollment, and im gonna be getting the AA the same time as HS Graduation (literally the same month too)

from your stats, it looks like you will get in. has ucf received your transcripts yet? and try to get those service hours in - it will up your chances the more hours you have. plus in fllorida (public) schools, you need them to graduate.

Kid chill you’ll get accepted. My dual enrollment GPA was a 2.8 and after getting here I put my act together and carefully brought it up. For personal reasons my highschool year was a disaster. You even have a higher ACT score than me. You’re gonna get in. Either you get later, get deferred or they put you in for the summer instead of the fall. Either way you’re going there.
