So, having that low of a Wgpa isn’t going to help you, MIT really likes course rigor. Your ECs also seem a little mundane, you took some leadership roles but there’s no evidence of national/local/competitive success associated with it. Id say it’s unlikely that you get in, maybe around 15% chance.
Complete garbage, you won’t be getting into UC Riverside much less MIT
Unless your essays are superb, your chances are right at the acceptance rate
First off, you have weak scores which will knock you down about 50% in chances. MIT will most likely cut your name off the list before they get past your frankly mediocre (no offense) Math II and Chem scores, you’ll need at least a 790 in both, and ideally 800 if you want any chance at all. Your APs are weak as well, and MIT expects you to get 5s in every STEM AP for consideration. This knocks you down another 40%. Your ECs are weak, which knocks you 9%. Trust me, MIT lies when they say they don’t cut people for scores; how else do they choose such a small class out of so many applicants? You have a solid 1% chance, but maybe Harvard will take you.
I know the admissions officers, so this is 100% truth.
Honestly they’ll take one look at your essay score and trash the app. Wish you luck at Caltech tho
