AP - Took 8 AP classes and got 5s on all of them
ECs - Cross Country, NHS, WYSE, Interact, Lacrosse (Captain), Volunteered at hospital during summers, Summer classes, Self-taught coder (Started a business related to writing and selling programs), Volunteered at Fen throughout spring.
Passion leaning towards either CS or engineering.
Ethnicity - White, came from immigrant parents
Other than that I feel like the only thing really hurting me currently is my GPA. I’ve been told to develop a spike by a few mentors and feel that coding is the strongest spike for me.

Reason for low GPA - Went through family problems and had OCD which was an awful time dealing with. (Regardless, my fault for low GPA)
Would it increase my chances of acceptance if a family member went to the school I am applying to?
