I am a biracial girl from Boston and I do volunteer work every Sunday at my church. I do community service trips (ex. South Africa and Costa Rica) I plan to do one more trip before I graduate. I also work at my summer camp and have a summer job at a restaurant. I run cross country and I am a coxswain on my crew team. I am in many clubs (docent at a Museum, glee club, students of color). I am a singer and perform regularly and sing on the choir at my church.

What are my changes for these schools?

Your best odds are at Fordham due to your ACT score. I think you’re a good fit there. You also look like a good fit for NYU. UCLA admissions have been getting tighter every year, so it’s a bit of a tossup- still apply but don’t set your heart on it. Your extracurriculars are great!

You are in great shape, as long as you explain your EC’s well. Best of Luck

I think you have a decent chance at a lot of these schools with your academic qualifications. UCLA may be a little tough to get into given your W GPA (the average for UCLA is above 4.2/4.3) and your ACT (they are looking for 34+), but you do have some interesting ECs that make up for that. Speaking of which, your ECs do seem pretty interesting yet varied. By looking at them, it is hard for me to guess what major you would like to pursue in college. Colleges would like that their applicants have done mostly ECs related to their field of interest, which may be something you should work. Try to use this summer to get involved in your major-related activities. If you can, you may want to retake the ACT and aim for at least 33. Overall, I’d say you have a pretty good chance at most of these schools! Good luck! I would really appreciate it if you could chance me back here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1995754-chance-me-low-gpa-rank-cornell-rice-wash-u-ucla-etc-p1.html
