Chance Me?

Hello. A little confused about my college list and what my chances are. I have posted before but not with my full college list.
I used collegeboards conversion for the gpas. I have a ~96% unweighted and 100+% weighted.
According to conversion chart on collegeboard:
Unweighted GPA - 4.0
Weighted GPA - 5.0
I am still a little confused on this since I have gotten one 90 in 9th grade but have >92 unweighted on everything else.

-AP/IB/honors courses
I am still taking the courses but am in IB chem, physics, english, spanish, and math. I took the AP calc BC test and will recieve my score soon. Will take AP comp sci next year.

No class ranking but am in top cohort for a class of 574.

SAT
1460 800 math, 660 reading/writing - Hoping to have improved this last test

800 Math II
Physics-Just took and not sure about 800

-ECs

I have been on the high school math team since 8th grade and am on the county team. I was president when they had one in 9th grade. I have been in science bowl since 8th grade. Was captain and president in 8th and 11th grade. I am also Vice president of our Math Honors society. I have been treasurer of brainstormers team as well. This year I researched with a researcher at Columbia and this summer I am continuing the work as well as starting another project with a Professor at stony brook university.

-Accomplishments
USA Math Talent search HM
Science bowl regional winner- qualified for nats
Mathcounts county 4th place-qualified for states
NY State Math League First Place
JSHS Long Island semifinalist
LISEF Science Fair- Third Place
A lot of county math awards
I do community service and tutor underprivileged children. I was on JV tennis and am a black belt in tae kwon do. I also am an all county vocalist and have gotten a 100 on level 6 NYSSMA.

-Recs
My mentor has written me recs for summer programs and I think he will write run for this. He is a cornell and columbia alumni and is a researcher at columbia. I also think he is a grad school admissions officer at columbia as well but I am not sure how much weight that has. The recs he wrote me for programs are very good though. My math teacher will write a rec and I think it will be good as I am the only junior in the class of seniors of IB HL Math 2 and she likes me. I am trying to figure out who else to ask. Probably will ask my US History teacher, research teacher. Overall I will ask Chorus, Math, History, and research and then decide which ones to submit. Also submit mentor as supplement.

-Essays
I started writing them and am trying to look more like a well rounder with my main focus on math and comp. sci.

My List as of right now is:

Columbia-ED
MIT
Georgia Tech
University of Chicago
CMU
UMich
BC
NYU
Binghamton

RD
Cornell
Dartmouth
Duke
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Brown
Northwestern
Northeastern
UVA
SBU
Tufts
JHU
Baruch
Georgetown

For schools like MIT I am thinking of applying more for Earth Science in order to have a better chance.

As of now, all are reaches with the exception of BC, NYU, Bing, Northeastern, SBU, and Baruch. Try to get above a 1500, closer to 1550, for the SAT to have a good shot at the others.

Your EC’s are amazing! National qualification is a big deal. Your SAT is in no way bad- it’s closer to the 50th percentile than the 25th percentile at most of the schools that you’re looking at. In short, your chances are great at nearly all of these schools.

MIT, Princeton- Reach

The ivies except for Cornell and Princeton, UChi- low reach.

CMU, BC, Cornell, Northeastern, Tufts, Georgetown, JHU- High match/match.

Binghamton, NYU, UVA, Umich, Stony Brook, Baruch, Georgia Tech- Match/low match.

Your list is a little worrying. Right now, it looks like you combed the U.S. News top colleges and didn’t go beyond #50. You’re totally, totally qualified for every single school that you put down, but the reality of admissions is that thousands of qualified (and over-qualified) applicants don’t get in. Spend a couple of weekends looking at each of those colleges in depth, finding which ones you connect with, and eliminating the ones that you don’t. Add some safeties with acceptance rates of 60% and 70%. With the looks of your application, you won’t need them, but it is so much better to be safe than sorry.

Congratulations on your achievements!

Sorry I don’t know why I forgot to take that off of the list. I qualified for nats in 8th grade so im not sure that will be considered. Mathcounts is also from 8th grade. I am looking to add safeties right now but I so far I was looking for places that would have high recruitment in finance.

I agree. I think that you need to think about what you want in a school. It is going to be very hard to apply to this many schools and make it look like you are actually interested in each of them.

So I gt my SAT back and got a 1500 meaning I have a 1520 superscore. Would you mind reevaluating me based on this?
