See if you can explain the AP and surgery conflict- this might be a good thing to brief your counselor on so they can mention it in their recommendation for you. I don’t think those scores will do much damage to your application, though.

Does your school give you a UC GPA? It counts core classes (science, english, math) and leaves out stuff like yearbook. It also rounds your grades to the letter (A- is a 4.0, but B+ is a 3.0). Having a UC GPA is super helpful for determining chances in the system!

Your chances look great as is. Get above a 1400 and you’ll have solid chances pretty much everywhere! You might want to look into adding Occidental as a good safety (its life sciences programs are solid). Best of luck!
