UCLA like all UC’s are very GPA focused so if your UC GPA is 4.2+, you have a decent chance at an acceptance. Besides GPA, your test scores, HS course rigor and personal insight essays are all considered important. EC’s are important but will not override low test scores or GPA. There is no magic formula to get into any school, so all you can do is present the best possible application and have stats above the 50th percentile.
