Your stats look really good! I know some kids with similar stats who have also gotten in (out of state). It’s important to remember that nothing is guaranteed so there’s still a chance you might not get in but overall, you have a really good shot. Because Pitt has rolling admissions, it’s in your favor to apply in August. Good luck!

@justdreaming thank you so much for your input!!

@collegelover1234 Great stats, always have a back up plan but you look like a match for Pitt to me, solid SAT, great GPA and really strong ECs. As previously stated, have a nice list of matches, reaches and safeties that you’re applying to since this process is so crazy. Best of luck to you and have a great Senior Year!

@AmyBeth68 aw, thank you so much!!! i hope i get in!

I’m pretty sure you will get accepted. And I believe the application opens in July. So you might find out even earlier.

Did you visit? I think there used to be a waiver for the application fee if you visited recently.

If you have only taken SAT once, might be worth to take it in Aug one more time after some more practice, for increased merit chance.

@collegelover1234, mommdc is correct, we do offer an application fee waiver for anyone who visits this summer. You can see the schedule of our daily visits and summer programs at oafa.pitt.edu/visit.

Our application will open in late July.

Best of luck!
