Any other suggestions for colleges? Is there any chance I could receive scholarship at some of these schools?

What are you planning on studying? That is very relevant when considering your coursework, grades, and EC

^^^ second this. Your list of colleges as it stands looks fairly well-matched to your stats, though.

I plan on studying political science or something in the neighborhood of that. My AP/IB courses are mainly in that History and English if that helps.

Do you think that Wake Forest is feasible for me to get into with Early Decision? I think I have to get my ACT up a little bit to make up for my less than impressive GPA.

i think your chances at QU are good based on the rigor of your coursework and ur ACT score which looks like the high end of the range they have on their site. My son applied to American last year and got waitlisted. He didn’t do the “optional essays” and apparently didn’t show enough interest. He got into Loyola no problem with a nice scholarship and other schools more recognized than American. Also, Loyola loves interest as well. QU offers nice academic scholarships as well. I don’t know anything about the other schools, though my son knew a high 80’s student who got into Richmond ED with few honors classes and maybe 1 AP. Did you look at George Washington or James Madison? Good luck

@theOGreject2017 and @newkidnewtrix I plan on studying political science. Wake Forest is definitely my favorite but I don’t know if I even have a chance. I definitely have to apply ED, and I’m going to, but Im afraid it just might be a waste of time and my ED.

@Collegehelp4us I looked at James Madison and I didn’t like it that much, and George Washington I think is too big for me. Thanks for the feedback.

@strikers10 if Wake Forest is your dream school, you should apply ED. Your stats aren’t at the point where its obviously clear that you would get rejected (they seem pretty solid in my opinion), so I don’t see why not.

Totally apply ED! It’s not a waste at all.
