I’m also a legacy at Cornell.

Low ACT score for those type of schools.
If no AP…why?

@uclaparent9 My school doesn’t offer APs and I’m taking the ACT again

USC- low reach/match
UChicago-high reach
UCLA- low reach/match
Vanderbilt- reach
Cornell University-low reach (because of legacy)
Princeton- high reach
Northwestern-reach

Your ACT is low for most of these schools (try to bring it up to 33-36), although your ECs are pretty good! Be sure to dive into your ECs on a deeper level in your essays, and you’ll definitely have a shot!

Also consider taking the SAT… some people who do bad on one fare better on the other

These are all High Reaches, unless you have some hook.

UCLA is a Reach. Any school with a less than 20% acceptance rate will be tough. Aim for an ACT in the 33+ range
