If I apply ED do I have a decent chance or is it such a reach I should look elsewhere?

UW GPA is a bit low, but not that bad. The ACT score is low so I would advise another test.

You mention 1 year of soccer-are you recruitable?

@Hamurtle No, I’m not recruitable it’s more of a hobby with my friends. As it stands currently, would applying ED be worth my time? And also thanks for taking the time to read this! I’m totally aware that this is a longshot for me, so my dreams will not be crushed if you say it’s not worth my time.

It’s a reach to be sure, but if you are willing to take another ACT, go for it. You do have the upward tend gradewise. Ultimately it’s your decision to make.

@Hamurtle It’d be pretty late to take another act no? I’m also worried my score would go down, I’ve already taken it twice, 29 then 30. USC would abosulely be the biggest reach I apply to. Would SAT subject tests help? Would anything else help? I wanna say again I can’t thank you enough for getting back to me, I really like other peoples input. If you don’t mind, what do you think my chances at Emory would be if I apply ED? Thats another favorite of mine. If you’re done responding though, I get it.

You still have time for 1 more ACT before apps are due so I would definitely try for one more test.

Emory is a low reach although if you apply to Oxford College, that could a high match since after 2 years you will be taking classes at Emory.

SAT subject tests may help but it’s better to put the effort into 1 more ACT.
