I’m from Ohio, so I only see fit commenting on OSU. Your advanced courseload is pretty weak for OSU when competing against other OOS students. Your SAT is very low for OSU as well and your ECs are nothing special unless you’ve been recruited. You’ve shown no leadership and NHS is pretty generic. What I’m trying to say is that you have no “spike.” There’s nothing in specific that indicates a talent in the major you’re applying for. A 3.98 UW is great, but when you’ve only taken 5 DE classes when a lot of competitive in-state applicants have taken 8-9 APs, there’s not really a comparison. I think the biggest issue is the SAT score. That’s a general way to measure people’s academic capabilities outside of the variety of schools, so you will be compared to others around you. You may get in by chance but I would not expect any aid and you may get deferred from main campus for your first year. @4gsmom I don’t agree with your statement that these are all matches/safeties except for UF. I actually agree with @vwnyu22 more, but I do not think your SAT is the only thing holding you down.
