Stanford is my dream school since 7th grade

GPA: 4.5 W, my school doesn’t provide unweighted GPA, Rank 4 out of 300 kids
SAT: 1530 (super score: Reading : 740, Maths:790)
ACT: N/A
SAT II’s: To be taken in June and August
APs: AP Chem and AP US History (school offers only these courses in junior year but all the courses are honors courses from 9th grade)

Extracurriculars

  • Varsity Girls Soccer - Won State Championship in 2016, plays Goalie position
  • Varsity Swim Team and Captain
  • Founded ART program for special needs kids and lead the program
  • Swim mentor for Special aid kids
  • Won prestigious president volunteer award
  • 200 volunteer hours in a local hospital
  • Assisted Elementary school kids with HW as part of the buddy program
  • Taught spoken English for ESL students
  • Worked as Lifeguard in YMCA
  • Member of NHS Spanish
  • Member of NHS
  • Publicist in Indian Culture Club and planning to run for Vice President
  • Attended Cyber Security free summer program in NYU
  • Got selected to attend Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Event in NYC and sponsored by Bank of New York

you seem like a well rounded person that is qualified enough to get into stanford. just remember in your app and essays you need to highlight one hook that you are extremely excellent at. there are simply too many well rounded and qualified people to accept all of them. good luck! stanford is my dream school too!!

There are no guarantees in Stanford admissions. Write about your passion on your essay. Remember that there are several dozen amazing colleges in the USA. Stanford is looking for the exceptional. Athletic EC’s don’t count for much unless you are a recruited athlete or Olympic caliber. As baker123 said, pursue something to the point of being exceptional in the time you have left before the application goes in.

If I expand on ART program which I founded and still running the pgm for special aid kids will help?
I am varsity swimmer and a swim mentor for special aid kids.
I have real passion for these kids and the organization will give a very good letter as well.
do you think this will help or it’s not a big thing at all when compare to other applicats.
