Hey everyone, my sister is a rising senior and I’m looking to introduce her to CC to help her as she begins her application process. Here are her stats:
GPA: 3.54 unweighted, 4.15 weighted (expected increase after summer dual enrollment is included)
White female from a top 20 Florida public high school
ACT: 31 (she’s confident it will go up 1-3 points after a summer of tutoring)
Classes taken:
- AP: Human Geo, World History, U.S. History, Language, Environmental Science, all exams passed. (Currently enrolled in Biology, Lit, Psychology)
- Dual enrollment: Sociology, Poly sci, Economics, Government, FAU summer program.
- All other classes are honors
Extracurriculars:
- Two years volunteering weekly as an education team member at a prominent wildlife center
- 600 hours interning (senior organizing fellow) for U.S. congressional candidate throughout summer 2018
- Member of performing arts school Philharmonic for four years, accomplished solo Cellist (cello), performed as a member of opening group for Florida All State
