I’ve already submitted my application but I’m just curious what other people think my chances are at NYU.
I’m female and Middle Eastern-American
GPA: 3.42
SAT: 1360 (single sitting)
Took AP European History in my sophomore year. Last year I took IB Bio SL, IB Psych SL, and APUSH. and this year I’m taking English Lit HL and French B HL, AP Calc AB, and might also take the AP Lit exam in case my English grade is bad. All other classes have been honors with the exception of my choir class (taken for 3 years) and economics.
I participate a lot in the school musical and plays being both a cast member and working in tech, even in shows I’m cast in. I’ve also been a GSA (Gender-Sexuality Alliance) club member for all 4 years of high school.
I’m just applying to CAS but picked GLS as my alternative option. Just from my school’s Naviance scatterplot I know that they’re not super focused on SAT+GPA and I’m in a healthy reach place for my school but I would still wonder what anyone thinks my chances are!
