State: Connecticut (I’ve lived in Taiwan, China, South Korea, Switzerland, and France)
School: Boarding School
ACT: 33 (36 science, 35 reading, 34 english, 27 math)
GPA: UW- 4.0, W- 4.6 (all APs or honors)
AP Scores: 5 on AP Modern Euro (Will take World History, French, English Lang., and US History this spring.)
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male
Family’s Financial Situation: Upper middle class, but will be asking for financial aid.

Pretty sure that your Boarding school has strong college counseling- and their opinions will be more informed than ours, as they know you better + know how students from your school do at these schools.

Oxford doesn’t do financial aid, and St Andrews has very limited aid for North American applicants, so if $45K/pa isn’t a runner cross you should probably cross them off your list.

With the stats and ECs that you have, you are in a pretty good position. But as always, reaches will always be reaches. Just do your best for your essays and I’m sure a good school will take you in! Most importantly, I would suggest that you work on your MUN spike since you’
