Schools Looking At: Georgia Tech (#1), Cornell, CMU, Ann Arbor, Virginia Tech, UIUC, Purdue

In general, your EC’s seem to be pretty engineering/design-focused, which will help your application for tech-oriented schools. With that being said, many of your awards are at the regional level, which provides an almost negligible benefit to your profile. GPA is a bit on the weaker side for many of the schools you’re looking at, however, your test scores seem to be pretty good assuming that you get an 800 on SAT Math II and 760+ on SAT Physics.

Considering that you’re out-of-state, Indian, and applying for engineering, I think CMU, GT, Cornell, uMich, UIUC are reaches. Purdue and VT are targets for you. Think about adding a uWis or Minnesota just so your application has a few safeties.
