Girl State & Governor School- cancelled but was accepted
Please give me any suggestion on what I should add!
The reach schools on the list are not realistic based on the GPA and ACT score. You’re going to get a 100% rejection from all of them. If you manage to get into Baylor, they might be nice enough to offer need-based aid…but don’t count on that.
At your income level, you need to look realistically at your options. You’re not getting financial help from your parents, and the most loans you can take out for a bachelors degree is $27k. Even an in-state university directly out of college is going to be expensive. Unless you plan to work full time, you won’t be able to afford room & board. You might want to consider doing your first 2 years at community college. If you’re able to live at home, that can offset those costs and allow you to transfer to an in-state university and finish.
