I applied for early action and I am pretty concerned. I am from southern Virginia and a white female. I applied with a 3.9 weighted GPA (13/93 in my class) and have taken 3 AP classes (the rest Pre-AP) and currently enrolled in four AP classes. I have never made a grade below a B. I participate in the National Honor Society, FBLA, and Spanish Club. I applied for the Psychology major. I was pretty confident until my SAT score of 1080 was sent to JMU by a miscommunication with my school counselor. (terrible test taker here…) My rec letter was sent by my principal that I have a great relationship with. Any clue on deferred or accepted?
Also, I noticed that some students from last year got accepted through Early Action in mid-December instead of mid-January. Does anyone know if this might happen again?
Wishing everyone luck!!
