honors

national honor society
maybe national merit commended

i also want to apply to premed scholars/honors programs like northwestern johns hopkins caltech.. what do you think my overall chances are?

bump please

hey! I'm a Korean, too. (male)
good to see another Korean.

You didn't say where you're applying (Cornell presumably but what college)
Anyway, your SAT is bit on the low side, but your GPA is good, but I'm not sure if the fact that about 20 people share the same 1st rank is going to help. Adcoms might even think GPA inflation or something, but other than that your GPA is great.

No offense, but your ECs and honors don't stand out. The research at a university looks good though.

I think Cornell is a bit of a reach
however, as anyone would say, Ivies are reaches for everyone.

you probably have a chance. Even though you probably have a better chance at northwestern.

Your research in the university will help you, but other than that... your EC, etc are pretty usual.
