I have been getting really good scores for the past 3 years, all A's but this junior year of my high school. I messed up a little bit. I have an avg of 70% Though I have not finished my final exams yet. But I guess Universities will evaluate my last 2 exams of junior year. The exams I had, Total marks for each subject was 40 but my final exam has 100 marks for each suject. I have Phy, Chem, Eng, Comp, Maths as my subjects.

If i get a good score on SAT and SAT subject tests Do i stand a chance?

no one? ahh come on! :P

dont really know about ur chances since international admission is more competitive (i think?) and it looks like u kinda messed up junior year, but idk
by the way idk U of I accepts the SAT II's but i might be wrong. like i said, not too familiar with intl admissions. good ec's and awards though

It's hard to tell especially when you don't have your SAT scores yet, or a concise GPA displayed. But it looks like you'll be fine. However, I don't think a big school like UIUC puts much emphasis on extracurriculars - I think it's more a school with the plug-in formula where they base it all on the grades and SAT scores stuck into a computer. Unless you get a Manual College Review - which is what it says on my status at least. I dunno. I could be wrong about all this cuz I don't know much about this school, but that is what I've heard. So do well on your SAT's and raise your GPA a little, make up for your junior year your 1st semester of senior year and you should be good to go. =] good luck with admissions!
