Thanks

i saw the class size (1277) and immediately thought plano. you're in at CAS, and good chance for stern.

I agree with the comment above.

thanks :) i just wasnt entirely sure wut nyu was looking for

Wow! Class size of 1277???

You have a very good chance at NYU.

Everything looks good except class rank, which is a little low but good for such a huge class size. Test scores more than make up for any flaws in your app - in at CAS, likely for Stern.

thanks so much for the helpful input! just wondering if i applied for the CAS, is it still possible to switch to Stern or is it binding?

you can internally transfer but I think it's probably harder (percentage wise) than getting in as a freshman and you have the grades to make it now. May as well apply to Stern now.

If you mean can you switch it on your app now if you've already sent it in, maybe, but you'll need to contact them quickly and I believe you have to indicate it in writing.

plano! i'm from arlington :)

brand_182,

What would be an "appropriate" ballpark class rank for Stern? I'm curious/worried because I am ranked 95/405, and historically, seniors ranked 100+ at my school have gotten into Stern, and my guidance counselor was confident about Stern, especially with alumnus connection.
