<p>Just wondering why doesnt the test matter? My full list of ECs are as follows:</p>

<li>Won a Gold Medal in Informatics Olypiad conducted by SIlverzone</li>
<li>Secured 2nd Rank in 7th International Level Science Talent Examination conducted by The Bangalore Science Forum.</li>
<li>Represented Delhi Public School Rajkot at ‘LISTEN- The Worlds First Conference on Childs Concerns’.
3.Secured 3rd Rank in National Cyber Olympiad.</li>
<li>Secured 7th position in Assesment of Scholastic Skills thorugh Education Testing</li>
<li>Was promoted to School Captain from School Prefect recently.</li>
<li>Awarded ‘A’ Certificate by National Cadet Corps</li>
<li>Special appreciation by ‘Leprosy Mission’ for social work.</li>
<li>Represented region at the State Science Fair at IIT Kharagpur.</li>
<li>Represented region at State for Volleyball and Ball Badminton.</li>
<li>Won state level debate organised by Hindi Samaj</li>
<li>Appointed school basketball and volleyball team Captain.</li>

<p>Ok, so have you taken the SATs, ACT, SAT Subject tests, TOEFL? If not then plan on doing them as they are requirements for the majority of schools. I am almost sure that you have to take the TOEFL especially since, I am assuming that English is not your native language.</p>

<p>You seem like a very well rounded applicant, so you should try to work on those college essays and the standardized test scores.</p>

<p>Do you play any sports/instruments over and above your EC's? Maybe you could inculde those on your application.</p>

<p>well yeah actually I love boxing but I dont have any achievement in that sport. I play Guitar. I have an avg of 2100 on practice SAT tests.</p>

<p>Some U.S. colleges grant aid to international students. Carleton College is one of them. Do a search on CC for them-- maybe in the College Search Forum.</p>

<p>Funding either comes from a school or through the government process. Many schools give merit or financial aid from their own resources. I suggest you do some googling and see if your school either has or can get info.</p>

<p>FYI, US schools care about grades and test scores much more than other achievements.</p>

<p>I'm not sure if BU has any international grants. I don't think they really give them a lot of need-based aid. I think you'd be eligible for merit-based aid if you meet certain requirements.</p>

<p>I think you definately have a chance of getting accepted. With that much extracurricular activities and a pretty good SAT score, I am certain you will get in.</p>

<p>Well in Class XI I have an avg of 65% till now darn monthly tests but my final exams are not over yet, they are in march. And I guess just final exam scores matter as they have max marks as 100 and they cover the whole curriculum.</p>

<p>I have an avg of 2200 on practice SAT tests, so that should give u some idea. and 800 on Phy Chem and Math SATII <--- Mind it these were practice tests :D</p>
